Symbol!I think that a hurdle would be a good symbol that represents Babe for two reasons. A hurdle can represent a challenge or an obstacle, and in the book, Babe obviously had to face a challenge, not to mention some setbacks (like almost getting killed!). A hurdle can also be used in a literal way, as there were hurdles in the sheep herding course that the sheepdog or sheep-pig had to make the sheep go over. | |
